Deva is the dog who got us into all this crazy dog show stuff. Deva needed a home and was expected to be a really HUGE dog. This led to seeking out an obedience trainer who just happened to show and train Australian Cattle Dogs. That's when life started getting crazy! Anyway, Deva was the alpha bitch of the cattle dog pack for fifteen years. She led the pack easily and well before eventually turning over the reins to Bingo and easing happily into the role of "dowager queen" until her death in 2000. She was an awesome therapy dog and all around sweetheart. She loved to show her belly to anyone who would look (and rub) and she loved to hear herself talk (more like a "woowoowoo" than a bark). By the way, the dog who was supposed to be HUGE never made it over 45 pounds!!
