| Buddy joined the family in 1999, after being smart enough to wander around on the highway in front of the right car. It was obvious that he had lived a rough life. He had sores all over, a broken tail, worn down teeth, awful skin and coat, you name it. Now he's a handsome and regal looking hound dog. From day one of joining our family, Buddy's main goals have been to be warm and cozy (i.e. laying on something soft). He will go to great lengths for these two things, so he is allowed to spend most of his time on the waterbed. We don't know how he managed to survive his previous life, because the dog we live with thinks he will melt if sent outside in the rain or freeze to death if sent outside in the cold. Perhaps he just enjoys his new-found life of ease. | |||||||||
